BRITISH AIRPORTS IN EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS
Takeley Parish Council is taking its claim for fairer treatment for
local residents to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). BAA's refusal to accept responsibility for the problem of generalised blight has been the subject of an ongoing legal challenge in the High Court over the last two years led by Takeley Parish Council with financial backing from a number of other local parish councils.
ALPINE PISTES ARE UNDER THREATH FROM GLOBAL WARNING
Skiers are known for taking great risks for their sport, but new
research from the Ski Club of Great Britain shows that their travel
habits may actually limit their ability to hit the pistes in the future.

European researchers developed airport approach and departure procedures that reduce the environmental (noise and emissions) impact around
airports, but require a co-ordinated solution by all involved parties.
