Dear colleagues,

Reading the directive 2002/30/EC of the EP and the Council of 26 March 2002 on the establishment of rules and procedures with regard to the introduction of noise-related operating restrictions at Community airoports, I was wondering which Member States, have implemented this guideline. Did the Belgian governement informe the Commission of the implementation?

The deadline was 28 September 2003.

So far I received the formal notification of the transposition from four Member States, including Belgium. The other MS who notified us until now are UK, Denmark and Spain.

FEDERALE OVERHEIDSDIENST MOBILITEIT EN VERVOER

25 SEPTEMBER 2003. - Koninklijk besluit tot vaststelling van regels en procedures met betrekking tot de invoering van exploitatiebeperkingen op de luchthaven Brussel-Nationaal, bl. 47538.

Art. 2. Dit besluit beoogt de tenuitvoerlegging van de richtlijn 2002/30/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 26 maart 2002 betreffende de vaststelling van regels en procedures met betrekking tot de invoering van geluidgerelateerde exploitatiebeperkingen op luchthavens in de Gemeenschap.
